Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

1 cup lukewarm water
2 tsp yeast
1 1/2 tsp sugar
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil

Directions:

1) In a small bowl, combine the lukewarm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-7 minutes, or until the yeast has foamed and risen.

2) While the yeast is rising, whisk together the flour and salt in a large bowl. Make a small well in the center.

3) When the yeast mixture is ready, pour it into the flour well, and then add the olive oil. Slowly mix until a rough dough forms.

4) Dump the dough out onto a countertop or table, and knead to fully combine the dough. Then, knead for 5-10 more minutes, until the dough looks smoother, and form into a ball.

5) Wrap the dough ball and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes and up to 24 hours. Pull it out when you are ready to use, and check out some of my yummy pizza recipes under the “Savory” tab, enjoy!
